Commander Sela is back, and she is gunning for Jean-Luc Picard! In command of a Warbird with more teeth than anything Starfleet has ever conceived; she is a force to be reckoned with. A defector brings the tools needed to balance the scales, but will they be able to create a force powerful to push the Romulans back in time? It will take ingenuity, bravado and more than a little luck to save this day!
Set in an alternate timeline where the Enterprise-E is a Galaxy-class dreadnought (as seen in All Good Things…), T. August Green takes us on a roller-coaster ride that fulfils many wishes of the fans and shows us a brilliant new weapon that could make the Borg think twice!

Sorya

Blurb
On the final voyage of the restored Enterprise-D, Admiral Jean-Luc Picard and his old crew are given what seems a simple diplomatic mission: escort a Klingon bride to New Romulus for a wedding meant to symbolise a fragile new peace. But Lady Kudraga of the House of Antaak carries with her a legacy that reaches back to Narendra III, the Enterprise-C, and the sacrifice of Lieutenant Tasha Yar — a woman honoured by Kudraga’s House as Sorya, their saviour.
Kara doesn’t often submit to the site, but when she does, she gives us gold.
Sorya is a marvellous story that brings a beautiful coda to the end of the ST Picard series, by giving the Enterprise-D a wonderful send-off and by closing the book on the story of Tasha Yar – and her much maligned half-Romulan daughter, Sela.
The story ties their story together from all timelines, and reminds us of what a wonderful woman Tasha was and how badly her character was treated by the writers.
Nearly all the TNG characters get something to do, and there’s a marvellous thread involving Data and his memories of Tasha, even given his resurrection(s).
Kara also writes in an immersive fashion that really has one seeing the scenes played out. Her prose is often quite poetic.
This is on my list of Highly Recommended.
