When a starship falls from the heavens, an entire world is thrust into destiny.
A catastrophic crash on the pre‑warp planet Ethos shatters the illusion of isolation for a civilization that has never known darkness—or the wider universe beyond its skies. As the Federation starship Ambassador is torn apart and its sister ship, the Enterprise, races to respond, rescue becomes only the beginning of a far greater reckoning.
Captain Rachel Garrett must navigate the razor’s edge between duty and disaster as first contact turns volatile, ancient prophecies awaken, and a self‑proclaimed goddess tightens her grip on a fearful people. Beneath the planet’s eternal suns, political intrigue, religious fervor, and buried secrets collide—while far above, Starfleet itself begins to fracture under the strain of impossible choices.
Spanning the wreckage of a fallen flagship, the corridors of power on Earth and Betazed, and the myth‑soaked battlements of an alien empire, The Ambassador is an epic tale of sacrifice, belief, and the dangerous allure of absolute power. Rich with character, moral complexity, and classic Star Trek grandeur, this novel asks a timeless question:
When angels descend from the sky… who decides whether they bring salvation—or ruin?
