A Kzinti shuttle has crashed on a Federation protectorate, and the crew of Sagittarius has been ordered to retrieve the occupant and return him to safety. Unfortunately, Terra 6 (known to its inhabitants as Kentuckiana) is equivalent to late 20th century Earth’s Kentucky, and, in addition to the Preserver-transplanted Humans, are a large number of what are best described as cryptids. Can the landing party safely extract the anthropologist Doctor Kett from the planet?

Thank you, I really enjoyed watching this. It was hard not to chuckle at the Billy Bob-like names. The cinematography around the cat scientist was very reminiscent of other worldly creatures on the Star Trek the original series. It was easy to see how the landing party could resemble a news or vlog crew. It was a little too telling about some backwards cultures that exist in real life. Overall, it felt like watching an episode of the original series but without all of the dramatic instrumental strikes.
